How many spills have occurred over time? How long has EACH separate spot/stain/spill been on the carpet? What treatment has already been used? all these factors will impact on the carpet &/or upholstery cleaning result. We are often asked to REMOVE a 10 year old stain that has had its ph change over this time! which can sometimes be impossible.

Please be aware that NOT ALL carpet stains will be removed! Our result will depend on any treatment you have already applied, the type of stain eg red wine?, the age & type of carpet & how long the stain has been on the carpet? Any stain that is over a few weeks old will be HARDER to remove, as the chemical composition of many stains will change over time, etc etc. We will strive to do our BEST but we cannot always satisfy every client, or ourselves!

DELUXE Steam Cleaning - Superior Service - 7 Step process where together Barrie & I will:

1. Pre inspect your carpet for spots, stains, worn/damaged areas. Discuss MOVEABLE items YOU would like moved around, & any ADDITIONAL rugs or upholstery YOU would like cleaned 
2. THOROUGHLY VACUUM ALL areas including edges & under & around unmoveable furniture, with our upright Dyson Vacuum, with HEPA filter, to remove 70% of DRY soil, dust mites & 90% of airborne particles
3. Prespray with Non Toxic shampoo
4. Hand treat & apply basic stain treatment chemicals for greasy spots, food spills etc & gently agitate carpet fibres to lift in-ground soil. *Additional charges apply for 'Advanced Stain Removal' - see below
5. Gently MOVE & replace MOVEABLE (by one person) lounge suites, chairs, dining tables & beds, as we vacuum, then again as we steam clean, where possible. 
6. Steam clean with our FAST drying Hydramaster Boxxer 318 truckmount or Portable machine (IF difficult access) to remove soil, spots & steam cleaning products, soften fibres & slow down resoiling.
7. FREE Deodorise.
NB: Your carpet will be left with a V shaped design as the cleaning process involves cleaning all sides of your carpet fibre. This design will minimise after a couple of days use. When needed, we groom carpet fibres in living room & we use a 'turbo dryer' whilst on site, to speed up drying process in cooler weather.

*'Advanced Stain Removal' may be required for any 'Red, Yellow, Orange, Blue or Brown' etc (coloured) stains, that do not come out by BASIC Stain Treatment during our process. We will discuss these stains on pre inspection, give you your options & or proceed as per your instructions, IF YOU WANT us to attempt to remove them with 'Stain Removal' techniques. We do NOT 'BAIT & Switch'. We give as accurate a quote as possible given the information YOU give to us, eg not many spots/stains to be treated, or heavily soiled etc. However, there are a lot of cheaper companies that you could choose, that may or may not employ 'Bait & Switch' tactics. Crown is also a member of 'Specialised Restoration Cleaning Professional' - SRCP. We will clean your valuable furnishings to the best of our knowledge & ability & we will ATTEMPT to remove spots/stains & spills & restore your lounge suite. However, many PALE lounge suites MAY have PERMANENT damage due to: water stains, sun fading, spills, age of suite, mould, which we cannot remove OR sweat & body oils stains (usually on the arms & headrest area) that we may only reduce.

All PALE/White/Beige coloured including Microsuede/microfibre fabric 4-5 seater lounge suites will take a couple of hours to steam clean. If you are only cleaning your PALE lounge suite to remove the stains, please think carefully! because IF your lounge is PALE & STAINED, you are probably wasting your money! When steam cleaning spills/stains that have soaked into the cushioning over time WILL wick up, so we can only guarantee that we will do our BEST! Your lounge suite will be clean & healthy, BUT probably STILL STAINED! We are highly trained Upholstery cleaners & we want a good to great result every time, BUT realistically this MAY NOT happen!

Lounge suites - time consuming process - Steam &/or Encapsulation method:
1. Pre Inspect - your lounge suite for: soiling, permanent water stains, rips, fraying, sun fading, spots/stains, sweat & body oils, aged mould (permanent), possibility of colour run, then open your cushions to check on hidden fabric problems, etc. 
2. Consult - We will then discuss & bring to your attention any staining, soiling or worn areas that we feel may be permanent & any other problems that we can visibly foresee. Discuss with you which method we think would be best suited to the type & colour of fabric.
3. Prepare Upholstery fibres - THOROUGH Vacuum between seats, base etc with HEPA filter to remove 70% of DRY soil, most hair, food etc (including crevices & hard to get at places). Use lint remover to remove many animal hairs embedded in fabric.
4a. Treatment Steam
a. Pre spray with HOT emulsifying (non toxic) Shampoo OR Fine Fabric Shampoo for pale colours or delicate fabrics.
b. Pre TREAT & softly agitate upholstery fibres to attempt to lift any spots, stains & in-ground sweat, body oils & soil. 
c. Steam Clean with PORTABLE machine* with Rinse added that Neutralises upholstery fibres, inhibits browning & removes soil & cleaning products - and/OR
4b. Treatment - Encapsulation
a. Pre spray with warm Encapsulation Fine Fabric Shampoo 
b. Pre TREAT & softly agitate upholstery fibres with mitt or portable agitator with pad to assist in lifting spots, stains & in-ground sweat, body oils 
d. Vacuum up any dry soil if needed
5. Deodorise & Groom - Deodorise & gently rub over each base (time consuming process), cushion seat, back & arms to preen the fibres. IF you have a PALE coloured lounge, we MAY use a turbo dryer on it, while we clean, to speed up drying.

Price will VARY if FIXED cushions, as only the top & sides need cleaning? OR LOOSE cushions as both front, back, & sides will need cleaning, so it will take longer to steam clean. - 1st two same fabric scatter cushions complimentary.

Microsuede is Microfibre that is woven to LOOK like real suede, it REPELS water, BUT once a SPILL/STAIN has soaked in, it is almost impossible to remove the water stain or tide mark. 

NB: Some fabrics MAY experience slight stretching, due to the elasticity in the fibre & the pressure applied to steam clean & remove soil/stains. This SHOULD settle down after a few days use.
NB: We do not generally steam clean Velvet fabric lounge suites, as they require specialty grooming techniques.

Surface Freshen up Rug Cleaning - Deluxe On-Site
Dirt is ABRASIVE so it WILL damage your Carpet/RUG if it is NOT removed! 

It is CRUCIAL that ALL Rugs are THOROUGHLY vacuumed BEFORE they are steam cleaned, as they HOLD & HIDE a LOT of embedded dirt. IF they are not thoroughly vacuumed first, dirt that is DEEP in the carpet fibres WILL wick up as the RUG fibres dry. Regular weekly vacuuming is CRUCIAL to extend the life of your RUG. Regular STEAM cleaning with a rinsing/neutralising agent, will leave your Rugs Clean & Soft.

A lot of people say '$121 but I only paid $400 for my rug! Fair enough, but how many years ago did you buy the rug? IF you feel you can research & find a suitable replacement for your 3-10 year old rug for cheaper than our mobile service, go for it! Please bear in mind that to replace your soiled rug, you will need to spend time researching a new rug - colour, type, texture, feel etc then travel around looking at various rugs until you find a suitable rug that suits YOUR needs. You will then buy & arrange to transport the new rug to your premises, usually via a delivery fee, & then organise to dispose of your old, dirty rug! 

We have an easier solution. We are professionals that provide a MOBILE service. We spend our TIME driving to your premises at an agreed suitable time. We then set about trying to work our magic on your rug to give you the BEST restoration result possible. Therefore, we will charge you on the TIME & equipment etc needed to give your sentimental rug the best cleaning result possible after years of traffic use, in ground dirt, spills, kids & pets use, etc. 

On site we can only perform a 'Freshen up' clean as we can only bring LIMITED equipment. 
We can perform a thorough clean of 85% of GENERAL household Nylon/Synthetic & some wool rugs at your premises. 
8 Step 'On-Site Deluxe Rug Service' to SURFACE wash FRESHEN up General rugs. We: 
1. Pre inspect your RUGS for spots, permanent stains, worn areas etc.

HOWEVER, rugs that are delicate like Silk or have colours that MAY run like Persians, Orientals, Tibetans, OR SHAG rugs that hold an immense amount of dirt SHOULD be cleaned at our RUG factory. Yes, it is more expensive than an on site service, but you will get a more through clean as your rug is washed thoroughly in a HUGE BATH. We can provide this pick up & delivery service. 
NB: If your rug has a latex backing, there is an 75% chance it may perish when bathed at the rug factory.

*ON SITE cleaning of Persian look, thick Woollen or SHAG rugs can only remove 60-70% of soil, as they hold an immense amount of hidden soil! They all need to be vacuumed 4-6 times, which takes additional time.

We CANNOT clean the 'Cotton pale fringes' of rugs 'On site' as they NEED Specialised HAND treatment so for a thorough clean these types are REQUIRED to be taken to our Rug Factory.

Persian, Oriental, Tibetan, Thick Wool &/or SHAG Rugs
The professional cleaning of your valuable rugs starts here!!

A lot of rugs cannot be thoroughly cleaned on site, as there is limited PORTABLE rug cleaning equipment. Certain rugs SHOULD be taken to the Rug factory for a THOROUGH Clean of: Persians, Orientals, Tibetan & similar VALUABLE rugs that have colours that MAY RUN, or THICK Chunky Wool &/or SHAG Rugs.

We follow our 14 Step 'Rug Factory' process to thoroughly clean rugs. We: 
1. Pre inspect your RUGS for spots, stains, urine & worn areas etc.
2. Gently MOVE any moveable furniture that is on the Rug
3. Roll up rugs at your premises & put in our van
4. Take rugs to RUG Factory 
5. Agitate rug then perform a thorough vacuum using our industrial strength Upright Dyson 'Beater Bar' Vacuum, with High Efficiency Particulate Air Filter to remove 60-70% of dry soil, dust mites & airborne particles
6. IF your rug is heavily soiled, we MAY need to rotary scrub 1st.
7. If needed, *IMMERSION wash in huge bath 
8. Treat spots/stains (urine, if needed?) by gently agitating carpet fibres to lift in-ground soil
9. Prespray with Non Toxic shampoo
10. Steam Clean with a Fine Fabric Rinse added to remove soil, spots, steam cleaning products, to minimise browning, SOFTEN & neutralise (retard resoiling of) your Rug.
11. If needed, Encapsulation clean
12. Deodorise.
13. Dry out & groom rug 
14. Deliver rugs back to your premises
There is a 10-14 day turnaround for this service. 
*IMMERSION wash is REQUIRED for all URINE soiled rugs, SHAG rugs + some other rugs.

Persian, Tibetan, Specialty or *SHAG rugs = FROM $66 per m2 - pale fringes need to be hand treated & will incur additional charges. 

You may be thinking 'but I only paid $600 for my rug! FAIR enough, but we are professionals that are using our TIME & factory equipment to give you the BEST result possible. Therefore, whether your rug is worth $250 or $6000, we will charge YOU on the TIME & equipment etc needed to give an optimum cleaning result, after years of use, dirt & spills etc. 

NB: IF your rug has URINE, faeces or blood soaked into it, it MUST be immersion cleaned to thoroughly remove 90% of the substance = Additional $11 per m2 or min $44. Alternatively, if your rug has surface Mould (NOT black yet), it MAY need to be washed several times, then an antimicrobial decontaminant needs to be applied (to kill any further mould growth). These treatments are time consuming & may involve additional costs.

However, if we are performing a carpet, upholstery or leather clean at your premises & you decide that we should take the rug to our factory to be cleaned, there will only be a one way Return delivery fee charged. 

WATER DAMAGE - Additional costs, when necessary

For water damaged areas up to 6sm, we MAY be able to use our Sub Surface 'Flash Xtractor' tool (see youtube video above) to extract even more water/moisture from your carpet AND underlay/pad to speed up drying time. However, we MAY need to remove underlay & install dryer to speed up drying process then install NEW underlay when dry. For a Clean water damage* (MAX left 24-48 hours) 6sm includes: 1 technician 30 minutes on site, moving some moveable furniture, 'Flash Xtractor' extracting, steam cleaning, applying antimicrobial deodoriser, 1 day dryer use + return to tap back carpet, would cost approx $330. *If carpet has been damaged by grey or black water (toilet or sewerage) for HEALTH & Safety reasons, your underlay SHOULD really be replaced at an additional cost.
NB: If carpet CANNOT be lifted due to: being stick down, rubber backing, OR difficult access? your carpet MAY take > 48 hours to dry AND you may have a brown water stain. The cause of the water damage also needs to be rectified eg leak through your wall has been repaired?

Leather

Deluxe Pigmented/Sealed/Finished Leather - HAND Clean
We only perform cleans on PIGMENTED/SEALED/Finished/Protected Leather furniture. 

PIGMENTED - known as Sealed or Protected leather has been treated, spray painted & sealed to protect the leather hide. It has a thick layer of protective coating applied which slows down staining from spills, but grain patterns still show through. Coffee & wet spills will not absorb easily. If you want a THOROUGH clean & protection of your valuable PIGMENTED/Sealed leather furnishings then our process is:

Inspection - Pre Inspect your leather for spots/stains, rips, fraying etc.

Procedure - Remove any loose cushions & Dry Vacuum &/or soft polish any fabric areas/linings & any hard to get at places (between seats, edges etc).

Treatment - HAND Shampoo
1. Apply leather solution in a circular motion to gently agitate heavily soiled areas
2. Agitate with a soft bristled brush or microfibre cloth or pad
3. Leave for 5 minutes then wipe off with DRY towel, if needed.
NB: Soiled or White/Pale coloured lounges, the above steps WILL need to be performed several times, to obtain an optimum result. Once we are happy with the result we will then apply:

Mid/darker colours Treatment - Condition 
Apply Conditioner in small even circular strokes, until all areas have been coated & buff with towel.

WHITE or Pale colours Treatment - Protection 
Apply Protector/conditioner in small even circular strokes, until all areas have been coated & buff with towel.

If any additional specialty treatment needs to be performed like STAIN treatment/attempted removal of stains like coffee, blue or other coloured jean/clothes dye, ink or fake tan solution etc, additional costs will be discussed. We also hand clean Leather car seats. 

Cleaning of PIGMENTED Leather lounge suites are very labour intensive & PALE colours show more soil. We guarantee to TRY our BEST. We cannot guarantee stain removal as SOME Pale or Cream leather lounge chairs MAY be permanently stained & may have an extremely heavy build up of soil. We cannot make older chipped leather lounges look new. We can only make them clean.

We CANNOT clean : Aniline, Semi Aniline, Nubuck or Suede as they WILL permanently stain as they absorb eg body sweat, spills, etc IMMEDIATELY!

1. Aniline - All REAL leather start as Aniline Leather, which is the highest quality leather. The PREMIUM top side of the animal hide is used. It is treated then submerged into dye to change its colour, but grain patterns show through. Absorbs Water, stains & spills immediately.

2. SEMI Aniline - as above, but has a thin layer of protective coating applied to slow down staining.
